Hi,

I'm feeling inspired, grateful and more then a little tired :) The Ethereal Dreams Kickstarter campaign is over. and successfully funded 🎉.

With this project, we took some risks. We broke with tradition and explored new ways to celebrate Tarot and Playing Cards. While these risks were not a good fit for everyone, you embraced the project with open arms.

So thank you for jumping in and helping make Ethereal Dreams come true!

What's next and what to expect...

It usually takes about two weeks before Kicktarter releases any funds. But we're already working with printers and fulfillment so we can hit the ground running as soon as they do!

As I write this update, Max is working right now to set up Backerkit. As soon as that's done we'll send a link so you can easily update or modify your order – AND – make sure we have your best shipping information.

When are we sending stuff?

•  Digital Tarot Decks – We're just now finishing the digital Tarot deck so watch for a download link sometime next week (with high-res versions of all the illustrations).
•  The Digital Edition Art Book is turning out to be really stunning! We've still got some new (never seen before) artwork coming in from the artist. We expect to have this finished in about two weeks and will send a download link as soon as it's done. 
•  The Print Edition Art Book will require two or three weeks production time after you get the download link. They will ship directly to you from the printer. 
•  Large Format Bound Fine Art Print Books – We're making a few tweaks, and we expect to order these in about two weeks. Production time should be about another two weeks after that, and then these will ship directly from the printer.

What about the Tarot and Playing Card decks?

Max and I are already deep into the process of working with the printer to get everything ready to hit the press  👍. We want the decks done as fast as possible, but we're not going to rush. Quality is our top priority! We'll post regular updates so you'll know what's up every step of the way. Expected production time is 30 days after we've approved everything. At that point shipping will happen fast.

• NOTE: Uncut poker decks, Tarot Cloths and Professor Tate's Traveling Road Show decks will ship with the Tarot and Poker Decks.

Long story short :) Watch for updates with download links and printing/shipping schedule soon!

P.S. – What most people don't know... this is Digital Desires' first published project. It's the very first time her stunning artwork has reached a significant public audience. She is overjoyed! ❤️ For me personally, Digital Desires is one of my all-time favorite artists, so it has been a privilege and pleasure to introduce her to you! Because of your support, we can all look forward to more amazing artwork (and cool projects) from her in the near future.

Professor Tate's Traveling Road Show – Available as Add-ons.

I just wanted to share two quick things. 

First, Professor Tate's Traveling Road Show Playing Cards are now available as Add-ons! Thanks to many fan requests we decided to offer some inventory from our remaining few boxes. (Limited supplies - available on a first-come-first-served basis)

Professor Tate's Traveling Road Show features vintage pinup style cartoon showgirls, with charming and sexy illustrations by Richard Tate. Each suit is represented by a special group of performers. The legend and lore of these decks added to the fun and flirtatious vibe of the artwork.

Second, we added photos of the 11"x17" fine art print books to the campaign and posted at the end of this update. When the print books arrived I was very impressed. The color is rich, the details are crisp and the paper quality feels great. For as little as $3.50 per print, they are a steal. Anyone who's getting prints is going to love them!

P.S. – Watch for one more update over the weekend! I think we have some good news coming, especially for Ethereal Dreams playing card collectors. :)

Hi,

I've got great news to share, but first... thank you! We recently passed 1000 backers. 🎉

This feels like a huge milestone. We didn't imagine so many would embrace the project. It's thrilling that you're inspired by these Tarot and Playing Card decks!

OK ... now the good news update...

Because playing cards are often printed with room for more cards, we planned on doing just 2 bonus cards – in the poker decks only. But we suddenly had a quality problem when the artist gave us 4 awesome new images.

Last week you voted for your favorites. But before we counted the votes, Max contacted the printer to find a way to do all 4 cards. He kicked some friendly butt and got the printer to add two bonus cards for the Tarot decks also.

So we're including all 4 of the new bonus cards!!

FOX and SIREN will be included in the Playing Cards. RAPTOR and PEACE will be in the Tarot. 

Since most of our backers are getting both Tarot and Poker, we thought this would be a great way to bring the most joy to the most people possible.

The positive response to Ethereal Dreams has been humbling and rewarding. We hoped to reach our funding goal but certainly didn't expect to pass it on day one.

Hi,

I'm happy to share that we're adding two new bonus cards to every Ethereal Dreams Poker deck!

But we need you to help us choose. 

We asked Digital Desires for 2 new images – but she sent us 4. That's what happens when you're working with a super talented and inspired artist :)

So which are your favorites?

• Fox

For me Raptor and Siren are my top two. But Fox is pretty close. So I know this may be a difficult choice. 

But don't worry – no matter which ones you choose, we're going to include all 4 cards in the digital deck e-book that comes included with every pledge.
